I’m lucky enough to call my passion my career. My love for hair started when I was very young. I can remember playing beauty salon as a kid. I pursued my dreams right out of high school. I started my journey working side by side with an amazing stylist who’s clientele consisted of country music stars. I learned so much about hair color, hair extensions, haircuts, and I fell even more in love with it. I knew that it was time to grow and start my own business. I started working at a salon in Westlake Village where I furthered my education, working with top stylists in Ventura County and New York, and gained a clientele of my own. After a few years of being in Ventura County, I realized I needed to follow my dreams of being a successful hairstylist in Orange County. I knew I would have to start all over again but I was up for the challenge.
When I came out to Orange County, I started off working exactly where I saw myself, at a beautiful high end salon on PCH, with an ocean breeze. I found a love for hair straightening, permanent hair straightening, and became the salon straightening specialist along with being a hair extension specialist. I built my clientele very quickly. I can say that I at least have 3 straightenings a day, along with color. Hair color has always been a love of mine. In 2010 L’Oreal launched their new hair color line, Inoa. I was introduced to Inoa and fell in love and have been using it ever since. Inoa is ammonia and the results are always shiny, healthy, and fabulous. L’Oreal Inoa hair color has been a perfect fit for me and my clients.
Being a hair stylist always keeps me growing and on my toes. I love being able to play with my creativity all day. Fashion and trends change constantly and its my job to keep my clients looking and feeling beautiful. It’s important that your stylist stays educated, going to hair classes. There’s not a day that goes by where I wake up wishing I had another career. My clients are very special to me and making them feel beautiful is what drives me. What girl wouldn’t want to play Barbie all day!?
If you ask me what my “style” would be I would say, Victoria Secret models. Soft, glamorous, and just plain beautiful! I believe natural beauty is always best but accentuating your natural beauty can be better. We all can use a little shine or highlights! Everyone should leave the salon feeling like they just stepped off the runway!
