Brazilian Global Keratin is a treatment for all types of hair. It’s a temporary straightening that leaves your hair frizz free and shiny.
This treatment can leave your hair straight and much easier to manage.
Global Keratin normally last 3-4 months, sometimes longer depending on how curly your hair is. This treatment is not unhealthy for your hair and will not damage your hair if done often. In fact Global Keratin contains protein and conditioners which helps make your hair stronger. Global Keratin is especially good for highlighted hair, where as other straighteners can cause more damage. Before this treatment is started I check the hair and always have a consultation with my client. Global Keratin should always be done by a specialist.
The Brazilian Global Keratin takes about an hour and a half.
After a Brazilian Global Keratin your hair will feel silky and very straight. It’s recommended that you do not wash your hair for 72 hours. You also want to make sure that you keep your hair as straight as it was when you left the salon, which means no clips, hats, bobby pins, or hair ties. If you get any dents in your hair you should iron it out.
Yes! The shampoo you use should not contain sodium chloride. This will gradually strip the Global Keratin out of your hair.
